Coconut, Ginger + Turmeric Drink


It serves that warm milk before bed purpose of making you just the right amount of cozy and sleepy, plus it's anti-inflammatory and aides in digestion! I've made versions of this before but this recipe from Eat Local Grown is tops. I adapted it a bit to suit my tastes and I hope you like it.


  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1/2" pice of ginger sliced
  • pinch cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice blend)
  • raw honey to taste


Add all ingredients to saucepan except honey if using and whisk.

Heat over medium heat until almost to a boil. Reduce and simmer about 3-5 minutes.

Strain ginger. Add honey and stir.
